Job Description

The Director of Sales, Reseller & Agency Partnerships will drive new business development and strategic growth within the partner ecosystem by identifying, closing, and onboarding new reseller partners, particularly digital agencies, media firms, and technology-enabled marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle with prospective resellers and agencies
  • Drive new partner acquisition with a focus on digital agencies, SEM/SEO firms, media companies, and channel resellers
  • Deliver tailored demos and communicate Yext’s value proposition in a partner context
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to structure partner-friendly agreements
  • Build deep relationships with key agency decision-makers and client service leads
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing reseller accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, reporting, and partner data in Salesforce
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to partners on digital presence strategy
  • Act as a connector within the agency ecosystem

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a focus on partner/reseller or agency development
  • Proven track record of closing strategic partnerships and exceeding quota
  • Deep understanding of the advertising agency ecosystem
  • Experience selling marketing, SEO, local listings, or digital presence solutions a strong plus
  • Ability to manage complex partner relationships and navigate agency buying behavior
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and negotiation skills
  • Consultative, value-based selling approach with the ability to articulate business outcomes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, partner CRM, and agency operations
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
