Job Description

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior GNC Software Simulation Engineer to develop, test, and validate GNC software solutions for autonomous drone fleet. Responsibilities include building and maintaining high-fidelity simulation software for algorithm development and testing, and working closely with the flight software team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test flight controllers and guidance algorithms
• Develop and test Software-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop tests
• Define requirements and integrate GNC software
• Review test data to verify vehicle performance
• Develop models to support functional evaluation of GNC software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with skills in dynamic systems and control
• 8 years professional experience in a GNC or related role
• Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Simulink Embedded Coder, C++, and Python
• Experience in modeling and simulation of dynamic systems
• Experience in mathematical modeling of aerodynamics, rotorcraft dynamics, sensors and actuators, flexible body dynamics and vibrations
• Expertise in numerical methods
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
