Job Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior GNC Software Simulation Engineer to develop, test, and validate GNC software solutions for autonomous drone fleets. The role involves building and maintaining high-fidelity simulation software for algorithm development, testing, and validation, with responsibilities including developing flight controllers, integrating GNC software, and analyzing test data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and test flight controllers and guidance algorithms
• Develop and test Software-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop tests
• Define requirements and integrate GNC software
• Review test data to verify vehicle performance
• Develop models to support functional evaluation of GNC software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with skills in dynamic systems and control
• 8 years of experience in a GNC or related role supporting airborne platforms
• Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, C++, and Python
• Experience in modeling and simulation of dynamic systems
• Experience in mathematical modeling of aerodynamics, rotorcraft dynamics, sensors, and actuators
• Expertise in numerical methods
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
