Job Description

The Manufacturing Trainer at Axon will deliver engaging learning experiences for Manufacturing Operators and leaders, focusing on procedures and production. They will assist in new hire orientation, product-specific training, and professional development, ensuring adherence to Axon's work instructions and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct On-The-Job training for new hires
  • Maintain and track training and certifications
  • Partner with Managers to identify and improve training gaps
  • Conduct line audits for process improvements
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
  • Assist peers, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel with projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for learning and development, employee engagement, and retention
  • Create a positive, engaging learning experience
  • Identify developmental needs and assist with skill improvement
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Provide support and guidance during the integration of new automation systems
  • Adhere to company philosophy/mission statement/goals
  • Use relevant information to determine compliance with standards
  • Follow Axon’s Code of Conduct

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Application Skills
  • Ability to partner across teams
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to be flexible, multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple activities
  • Institute for Printed Circuits Soldering Certification (IPC)
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual
