Axon is seeking a self-motivated Quality Inspector Lead to inspect materials, ensuring quality. Responsibilities include managing a team, conducting tests, interpreting data, and maintaining equipment. The role requires reading technical specifications, using metrology tools, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload for a team of inspectors
• Conduct tests and inspections of materials
• Interpret technical data and specifications
• Perform push and pull testing
• Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing
• Use metrology tools
• Interpret test results and make recommendations
• Maintain laboratory equipment
• Monitor operational procedures
• Conduct audits
• Maintain the QC database
• Analyze information and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Work autonomously and manage time

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• Basic software and computer skills
• IPC-A-610 certification (Preferred)
• Green Belt Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with ISO standards, inspection standards, and quality concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Minitab, JMP; other statistical software considered
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent written, oral communication, and technical report writing skills
