Job Description

Axon is seeking a self-motivated Quality Inspector to inspect materials following inspection plans for raw, in-process, and outgoing quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes
• Interpret technical data and specifications
• Perform push and pull testing
• Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing
• Use metrology tools
• Interpret test results and make recommendations
• Maintain laboratory equipment
• Monitor operational procedures
• Conduct layered process audits
• Maintain the QC database
• Analyze information and recommend solutions
• Join forces with stakeholders
• Work autonomously and manage time effectively

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• Basic software and computer skills
• IPC-A-610 certification (Preferred)
• Green Belt Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with ISO standards, inspection standards, and quality concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Minitab, JMP; other statistical software considered
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, procedures, and standards
• Excellent written, oral communication, and technical report writing skills
