Job Description

The Majors Sales Director will build a strategic customer base in the Bay Area, identifying new business opportunities and client growth. This role requires proactive engagement, understanding of sales cycles, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise prospects
  • Organize POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise
  • Win 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers per year
  • Lead and contribute to team projects
  • Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
  • Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations
  • Be an active member of the dbt open source community

Requirements

  • 7+ years closing experience in technology sales
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Diligence and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
  • Passion for being an inclusive teammate
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
