Job Description

dbt Labs seeks a dynamic VP of Solutions Architecture to lead the Solutions Architecture team in the United States. This leadership role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring customer success, and building strong customer relationships. The VP will lead a team of Solutions Architect leaders, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with various teams to align solutions architecture initiatives with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solutions Architecture team for North America
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of solutions architects
• Implement scalable processes and best practices
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams
• Engage directly with key customers and partners
• Serve as an escalation point and trusted advisor
• Maintain a deep understanding of dbt Labs’ product suite
• Establish a robust enablement program
• Act as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with various teams to align initiatives
• Regularly review and optimize team performance
• Ensure solutions architecture efforts contribute to customer success metrics

Requirements

• 9+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity
• 5+ years of second line management experience
• Industry experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
