Job Description

The Weather Company seeks a strategic Sr. Manager, Cyber Security to protect digital assets and align with security standards. This role involves leading initiatives, collaborating with IT and business leaders, and fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness across cloud, AI, and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with information security guidelines
• Drive adoption of Information Security policies and toolsets
• Consult on security exceptions and risk acceptance
• Minimize vulnerabilities across cloud, AI, and on-prem landscapes
• Support corporate BCP and audit function
• Remove organizational impediments
• Facilitate communication and collaboration
• Identify process improvements
• Collaborate on security metrics
• Contribute to security policies and procedures
• Monitor industry trends

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity/Technology, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• 4+ years of experience with process manufacturing industry, regulatory, and legal requirements
• Strong knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, cloud security, firewalls, web proxies, and IAM systems
• Ability to communicate complex information simply
• Excellent presentation and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience removing impediments
• Experience creating scaling mechanisms
• Solid business and financial acumen
• Professional security certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
