The Weather Company seeks a Data Analyst to join their Finance team, working with large datasets to uncover trends and provide strategic recommendations. The role involves financial analysis, data modeling, and supporting strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Explore and analyze financial, sales, and product datasets
• Develop new analytical approaches and frameworks
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations
• Create financial models and scenario analyses
• Support strategic initiatives with data-backed recommendations
• Analyze seller performance and account dynamics
• Analyze A/B tests and experiments
• Translate findings into clear visualizations and presentations

Requirements

• Experience with unstructured data and deriving insights
• Strong curiosity and independent problem-solving skills
• Ability to think strategically and challenge assumptions
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience
• Experience leveraging databases with large-scale datasets
• Experience with SQL and potentially Python
• Proficiency in modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience as an analyst or consultant is a plus
