Job Description

Seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to Join Trace3 Gov’s team to support critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), and the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II.

Responsibilities

• Enable software developers to continuously deliver value, while exceeding customer needs for stability and security of mission critical services and environments
• Automate application containerization via CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration of containers in a Kubernetes environment
• Improve the development workflow and developer quality of life, as well as overall security and stability of Kubernetes clusters
• Develop and integrate full-stack applications
• Work with Kubernetes and containerized and/or cloud platforms and implementing DevSecOps practices

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) within 60 days of start date
• 3 years or more of directly related experience
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, including provisioning and application deployment/scaling
• Experience securing a Kubernetes environment
• Understanding of application containerization (Docker)
• Experience with Shell Scripting, such as Bash
• Experience creating multistage CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservice architecture
