Job Description

The selected candidate will support the DevSecOps team and the Authorization and Assessment team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability for Security Tools. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program.

Responsibilities

  • Support the DevSecOps team and Authorization and Assessment team
  • Develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability for Security Tools
  • Assist in system administration of multiple environments
  • Support software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation
  • Work on systems administration related issues
  • Support deployment of custom software solutions
  • Propose system administration process improvement
  • Determine systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies
  • Develop and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience with continuous integration environments
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows system administration
  • Experience with a shell scripting language
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, GitLab, Nexus or other equivalent technology
  • Experience with developing formal builds within the DoD industry
  • Experience with CI/CD best practices, automated builds and tests, quality gates, software quality, and CI tools
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Familiarity with branching strategies, gated commits, source-controlled management
  • Familiarity with the principle of DevSecOps
  • Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tool experience
  • Atlassian Confluence, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus repository experience
  • Familiarity with security coding standard best practices, static and dynamic scanning tools
  • Programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment
  • Programming and scripting experience in a Windows environment
  • Ensure efficient and effective verification, evaluation, implementation update and maintenance of the Information System Configuration Compliance baseline
  • Has a working knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate STIG, Trivy, SCAP or other cyber scanning tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
  • DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II Required at start
  • Clearance: Secret Required
