Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for creating System Architecture solutions and concepts for a variety of new and emerging capabilities for the system in collaboration with other Architects. Communicates and collaborates on System Architecture solutions with other teams. Candidate will present architecture concepts to a large variety of audiences and serve as the focal point for the System Architecture for the Capability for the development, test, and deployment efforts. Candidate will present at internal and external design reviews. Candidate may assist in documenting or reviewing architectures in a MBSE tool such as CAMEO. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design methodologies, in the area of DoD Command and Control and COTS/FOSS information technology products.

Requirements

• Experience architecting systems with COTS/GOTS components
• Experience working in an integrated team environment
• Experience with identification and definition of desired capabilities
• Experience developing system engineering and architecture artifacts
• Experience creating briefings and presenting at DoD Customer Design Reviews
• Experience as a technical leader for a DoD Systems Engineering or Development effort
• Familiarity with Private Cloud solutions and IT technologies
• Familiarity with DoD Cyber requirements, RMF, and associated solutions
• Familiarity with Software development and Java based software solutions
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and/or Digital Engineering Transformation methodologies and solutions
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo tool
• Familiarity with requirements management tools, e.g., DOORS
• Systems Engineering/Architecture and/or Test Experience on a DoD Program
• Excellent communication skills
