Job Description

This position focuses on integrating R&D systems and contributing to X-Lab projects, including assessing program prototype performance, integrating source tracks, generating and assessing concurrent radar and sensor tracks, and enhancing prototypes based on results. The Software Engineer will apply these results to enhance the program for future operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and development of verification analysis tools
• Coordinate, develop, and maintain analysis and test tracking tools
• Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysis datasets
• Develop and maintain analysis tools in accordance with requirements
• Full-cycle software engineering of new capabilities

Requirements

• Full-cycle software engineering of new capabilities
• Basic Systems Engineering understanding
• Software development with Java or other object-oriented language
• Object-Oriented development principles and patterns
• Generate detailed and repeatable tests
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of Agile software development processes
• Experience with Java, Linux environment, and relational databases
• Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience with other object oriented software such as Python, C++/C#
• Bash or similar scripting experience
• Use of spreadsheets for data analysis and associated tools
• Development of software test and analysis tools
• Development and automation of data management processes and tools
• Strong teamwork skills
• Security+ certification (desired not required)
• Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) or equivalent
