Job Description

Hungryroot seeks a Senior Director of Total Rewards to lead compensation, benefits, equity, HRIS, and people analytics, building scalable programs to support employee well-being and prepare for public markets. This role involves cross-functional partnerships and leading a high-performing Total Rewards function.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve compensation philosophy and leveling systems
  • Manage annual compensation planning
  • Lead equity strategy and execution
  • Monitor pay equity and compliance
  • Own benefits strategy and optimization
  • Lead vendor management and open enrollment
  • Implement wellness programs
  • Manage HRIS (Dayforce)
  • Partner with Finance for reporting
  • Develop compliant processes for leaves of absence
  • Deliver workforce insights
  • Build dashboards and compensation models
  • Ensure compliance with laws and policies
  • Update employee handbooks
  • Manage the Total Rewards team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Total Rewards or People Operations
  • Experience leading private-to-public transitions preferred
  • Deep knowledge of compensation structures and equity design
  • Proven track record of building scalable processes
  • Fluency in HR technology and people analytics
  • Strategic thinker with execution ability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience supporting distributed and hourly employee populations
