Job Description

The Implementation Analyst will work as part of a team and as the primary contact with clients during Implementation and Upgrade projects. They will liaise with development to understand software functionality and communicate required new developments. They will also collaborate with clients to identify strategic and operational efficiency opportunities and provide input to ION Product Management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact with clients during Implementation and Upgrade projects.
  • Liaise with development to understand software functionality and communicate new developments.
  • Liaise with the Project Management Office to ensure key deliverables and timescales are met.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify strategic and operational efficiency opportunities.
  • Participate in Implementation Analysis engagements and in writing of reports.
  • Discuss and document requirements between the client and ION product and development.
  • Analyze, research, manage, and resolve functional inquiries from customers during implementation.
  • Record new issues and communicate issue status internally and externally.
  • Identify where the assistance of ION technical hardware and software specialists is needed.
  • Provide customer training for the ION Fixed Income solution and other components.
  • Assist the Client Services teams with complex or escalated issues.
  • Provide updates to installation pre-requisites if requirements change.
  • Install software patches during implementation phase(s).

Requirements

  • Experience working within the Financial Services industry is essential
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assume responsibility for own work
  • Eagerness to learn new skills to enhance capabilities
  • Capacity to communicate and translate between technical teams and business users
  • Ability to manage client expectations and build strong relationships
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and can-do approach

  • Ability to cope under pressure and manage priorities under tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of technologies used within the Financial Services industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Languages: English C1 level
