Lab49 is looking for a Principal UX Designer to lead the design of cutting-edge desktop, web, and mobile applications for its clients. The role involves driving UX strategy, collaborating with stakeholders, and shaping the design direction of complex financial and enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned UX leader with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for elegant design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and execution for enterprise-level applications
• Define and oversee user experience, including workflows, layouts, interactions, and data visualizations
• Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and translate findings into actionable design solutions
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, present design concepts, and refine solutions
• Mentor and guide UX designers
• Partner with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Information Architecture
• Expertise in designing complex, data-driven applications
• Proven ability to drive UX strategy and influence product direction
• Hands-on experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, or a related field
