Job Description

As a doula in the Pomelo network, you will educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. You will play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
• Ensure that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time.
• Accept insurance hassle-free by credentialing with health plans.
• Handle billing and admin paperwork.
• Maintain a flexible schedule.
• Grow your client base by providing client outreach support.
• Grow your doula community.

Requirements

• Completed certification / training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula from an organization recognized by the .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person.
• Comfortable using tele health platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Able to work virtually and in-person, as well as evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families.
• Pennsylvania Medicaid Provider Identification Number
• Doula training approved by the
• NPI number
• Adult & Infant CPR & First Aid Certification
• approval letter
• Liability insurance (not required but strongly recommended)
