Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer III at ShipBob, you will be responsible for developing production-level software in coordination with your team, working closely with Product Owners and your Engineering Manager. You will be expected to become a go-to expert in one area of the codebase, provide technical advice, scope and stage work, deliver software on time, and take initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Excellent problem solving, programming, and communication skills
• Object oriented mindset
• Ability to work quickly and collaboratively
• Ability to own small and medium sized features
• A hands on coding approach to engineering mentorship
• A defensive coding mindset with knowledge of OWASP
• Experience with SQL, JSON, REST, .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, and relational DB concepts
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with team building expertise
• Experience with automating infrastructure and build process
