Job Description
The Business Development Representative - Mid Market will develop logistical solutions for Powered By ShipBob opportunities using ShipBob's services. This role focuses on outreach and collaboration to close deals with merchants.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities weekly
Prospect via strategic outreach including cold calls, emails, and social selling
Create innovative outreach methods using a monthly budget
Identify client needs through assessing their current operations
Make recommendations to management from merchants who do not fit the business model
Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives
Achieve daily activity requirements and track merchant interactions
Consistently exceed monthly and annual quota
Requirements
2-3+ years of sales experience targeting Mid-Market or 3PL accounts
Experience using ABM strategies
Experience selling over the phone
Demonstrated diligence and accountability
Comfortable in a competitive environment with personal motivation
