Job Description

The Business Development Representative - Mid Market will develop logistical solutions for Powered By ShipBob opportunities using ShipBob's services. This role focuses on outreach and collaboration to close deals with merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities weekly
  • Prospect via strategic outreach including cold calls, emails, and social selling
  • Create innovative outreach methods using a monthly budget
  • Identify client needs through assessing their current operations
  • Make recommendations to management from merchants who do not fit the business model
  • Schedule demos with potential merchants and Account Executives
  • Achieve daily activity requirements and track merchant interactions
  • Consistently exceed monthly and annual quota

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of sales experience targeting Mid-Market or 3PL accounts
  • Experience using ABM strategies
  • Experience selling over the phone
  • Demonstrated diligence and accountability
  • Comfortable in a competitive environment with personal motivation
  • Relentless persistence
  • Aptitude for research and understanding data
