Job Description

As a Sales Engineer, you will partner with Account Executives to drive technical pre-sales engagements, showcase Cortex’s value, and navigate complex sales cycles. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical discovery and articulate Cortex’s value
  • Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers
  • Address technical objections
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering
  • Assist in RFPs, security reviews, and compliance discussions
  • Support post-sale transitions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering role
  • Strong technical background in developer tooling, DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud technologies
  • Experience working with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with the APAC market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
