Job Description

The Sales Engineer, APAC will support sales efforts by driving technical pre-sales engagements, showcasing Cortex’s value, and navigating complex sales cycles. They will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery and articulate Cortex’s value
  • Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on best practices
  • Address technical objections and help remove barriers to adoption
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide feedback
  • Assist in RFPs, security reviews, and compliance discussions
  • Support post-sale transitions by working closely with Customer Success

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or similar pre-sales role in B2B SaaS
  • Strong technical background in developer tooling, DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud technologies
  • Experience working with engineering teams and technical decision-makers
  • Familiarity with the APAC market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
