Job Description

The Key Holder at Filson motivates and develops sales associates to provide a top-notch customer experience, executes operational standards, manages visual merchandising, and supports marketing events.

Responsibilities

• Identifies customer needs and acts as an outfitter
• Supports the Store Manager in selecting store staff
• Supports the Store manager with coaching and conflict resolution
• Provides feedback to support members of staff
• Manages a training plan and coaching
• Supports marketing events
• Prepares reports
• Ensures availability of merchandise
• Ensures Filson Standards are met
• Protects employees and customers
• Manages customer service
• Supports store operations
• Abides by Time & Attendance policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Exceptional selling skills
• Minimum of one year in a leadership role
• Experience using data
• People development experience
• Friendly and outgoing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• PC based computer skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ yrs old
• Able to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Able to reach overhead
• Able to pull clothing and luggage from shelves
• Able to bend, kneel, or stoop
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
