Job Description

Workato is looking for an FP&A Intern to join their team. This individual will gain first-hand exposure to Workato’s financial planning, close, and reporting processes, supporting key G&A leaders and our continued automation efforts. The intern will partner with key leaders, assist in core financial planning and close processes, identify opportunities to streamline internal processes, and support leadership in ad-hoc analyses and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key leaders in support of their business objectives and financial planning success
• Assist in core financial planning and close processes, including downstream budget/cost reporting and analyses for senior leadership
• Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes to enhance process efficiency
• Support leadership in ad-hoc analyses and presentations as needed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Docs Editors (Sheets, Slides, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BI tools
• Strong analytical intuition and skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous FP&A or Finance-related internship experience (a plus)
