Job Description

Hatch is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead Engineer to join our iOS team to help people get their best sleep by helping lead cross platform mobile projects on a feature team to bring new capabilities to our customers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer who is passionate about using technology to solve problems for consumers.

Responsibilities

• Learn application architecture and development process.
• Work with product management to scope, plan, and ship features.
• Partner with management to understand processes and identify improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications for IoT hardware products.
• Debug issues spanning app, cloud, and firmware domains.
• Be a Tech Lead for a Pillar team to shape, scope, architect, direct, and deliver feature projects.
• Collaborate with teams to develop processes that enable a flexible organization.
• Develop long-term solutions while considering short-term priorities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building mobile apps for iOS.
• 4+ years of technical and management leadership
• Proficiency in Swift, Swift UI, and Swift Package Manager
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience structuring a large iOS app with 10-20+ developers.
• Experience with CI and delivery tools (Fastlane, TestFlight, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, async and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience working with IoT and connected devices a bonus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
