Job Description

ControlUp is looking for a Sales Development Representative to help scale revenue. Responsibilities include researching prospects, discovering pain points, getting access to end-users, and setting meetings with influencers and decision-makers. This allows the Account Executive team to focus on meetings and increases overall sales productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established sales process and weekly coaching
  • Set quality meetings with IT departments
  • Build sales pipeline and business
  • Participate in training program (classroom, role-plays)
  • Generate qualified leads
  • Prospect via email and cold calls
  • Establish platform value
  • Engage with prospects, build rapport, and identify needs
  • Exceed quota for two consecutive quarters

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of SDR or BDR experience (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience engaging with customers via email, phone, and in-person
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo (a plus)
  • Clear and concise communication (written and verbal)
  • Fast learning skills and passion for new technologies
  • Effective time management
