Job Description

The Revenue Accountant will review contracts of varying complexity and allocate revenue according to ASC-606. They will collaborate with sales, product leaders, and other departments to ensure contracts are structured advantageously for both the customer and D&B. The role also involves analyzing products to support revenue recognition treatment and participating in projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts to ensure proper revenue recording and compliance
• Collaborate with various departments on contract structuring and solutions
• Analyze products to support revenue recognition
• Participate in projects and provide financial insights and recommendations

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of financial experience
• Finance or Accounting degree (MBA or CPA preferred)
• 1-3+ years of revenue compliance and ASC 606 experience
• Experience reviewing complex contracts
• Business knowledge and experience working with sales, product, and legal teams
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong process orientation and computer skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage workload in a changing environment
• Advanced Excel skills
