Job Description

MO is seeking a Senior Service Designer to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by improving health outcomes for Veterans, Caregivers, Survivors and Family Members. The role involves leading complex engagements, client interaction, customer-centric discovery, prototyping, design system implementation, impact analysis, and mentorship. The candidate will also contribute to maturing the HCD practice at MO.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements and integrate service design practices.
• Inform program/project-level CX strategy.
• Act as primary client contact for service design matters.
• Implement mixed-method discovery approaches.
• Lead co-design, testing, and iteration of service design artifacts.
• Collaborate on design system implementation.
• Analyze the effectiveness of service design solutions.
• Mentor junior designers and influence stakeholders.
