Job Description

Dagster Labs is seeking a Developer Success Engineer to provide technical support to Dagster+ customers and open-source users. This role involves collaborating with enterprise clients, creating sustainable solutions through documentation, tooling, and process improvements, and providing feedback to product teams to enhance product quality. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Dagster+ customers and open-source users
• Provide technical guidance on data orchestration, integration, and how to write pipelines in Dagster (Python)
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Dagster installations, integrations, and deployments
• Troubleshoot issues with cloud services and containerized environments
• Improve documentation for clarity and usability
• Improve support tooling and develop debugging resources to expedite issue resolution
• Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to drive product improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical support or a similar role
• Proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, containerized environments, cloud platforms, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges independently
• Proactive mindset for engaging with customer issues and driving improvement
• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, Prefect) - Nice to have
• Knowledge of data engineering - Nice to have
• Experience at high-growth SaaS startups - Nice to have
