Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to improve mechanical solutions from concept to full rate production. The role involves leading quality-centric activities, reducing supplier nonconformities, managing audits, and working cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities from concept to full production
• Reduce supplier nonconformities through RCAs
• Manage internal, customer, and certification audits
• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) library
• Aid in completing customer surveys
• Manage internal corrective actions and the Material Review Board (MRB)
• Work with Case Management and Partner Support
• Act as an onsite quality expert

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in a quality role
• 2+ years experience in customer/supplier facing role
• Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experience
• Effective communication skills
• Effective facilitation of cross-functional team meetings
• Ability to triage multiple process root causes
• Good time management / project management capabilities
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ
• Full understanding of GD&T and tooling
• Mechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications
• Big Data development and trend analysis experience
• ISO 9001 and Internal audits experience
• Expected travel requirement of 5%-10%
