Job Description

Xometry is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Engineer with expertise in Tube Bending to join our team. This role involves customer quoting, supplier sourcing, and project management, serving as the subject matter expert on tube bending and fabrication. Competencies include CAD proficiency, knowledge of design for manufacturability, costing, technical communication, and a technical aptitude in hydraulic tubing.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates for manually quoted tube bending, tube cutting, and metal fabrication products
• Assist the Partner Network team in identifying and developing a partner base
• Provide pricing recommendations for manually quotes projects based on previous win rates
• Understand partner capabilities, identify gaps, and guide/train the sales team
• Liaison with the auto quote team to implement auto quote capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering highly preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with tube bending, cutting and fabrication
• Minimum 8+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, employees, and the public
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
