Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer with expertise in Tube Bending. This role involves customer quoting, supplier sourcing, and project management, requiring proficiency in CAD, design for manufacturability, costing, and technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates for tube bending and metal fabrication products
• Assist in identifying and developing a partner base
• Provide pricing recommendations for projects
• Understand partner capabilities and guide the sales team
• Liaise with the auto quote team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with tube bending, cutting and fabrication
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
