Job Description

Xometry seeks a Senior Director, Sales - Public Sector to expand its presence and drive revenue within U.S. Federal, State, and Local government agencies and educational institutions. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of public sector procurement, experience in building and managing sales teams, and the ability to articulate Xometry's value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for the Public Sector
  • Identify and secure contracts with government entities
  • Drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Act as a liaison between the Public Sector team and internal stakeholders
  • Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team
  • Establish sales targets and performance metrics
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers
  • Lead complex sales cycles

  • Ensure adherence to procurement regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience, 5+ in a leadership role
  • Experience securing large contracts and achieving revenue growth
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes
  • Experience selling advanced manufacturing solutions
  • Ability to build and manage sales teams
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software
