Job Description

The Senior Account Executive, Strategic will generate new business for existing enterprise customers, understanding their needs from prototypes to production, and growing Xometry's market share. This role requires exceeding sales goals through collaboration and a deep understanding of the low-volume manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sales of technical products and services to Fortune 500 customers
  • Strategic revenue growth of enterprise level customers
  • Building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management
  • Setting up sales calls for company executives and engineers with prospective clients
  • Qualifying potential leads
  • Working with technical staff to meet customer needs
  • Ensuring accurate data entry in CRM
  • Ensuring team members represent the company well
  • Proposing winning solutions and negotiating contract terms
  • Participating in training and mentoring programs
  • Understanding the company’s goals to enhance performance
  • Performing work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role
  • 2+ years of experience selling technical products or services in manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience selling into Fortune 500 companies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Proficiency in in-person and virtual presentations
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Prospecting and sales planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required
