Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and evolution of their enterprise data architecture. This senior-level position involves architecting scalable, high-performance systems for analyzing site traffic, telemetry, search performance, and advertising effectiveness. The role also includes collaborating with engineers and data scientists to build analytic data products and mentor other data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable end-to-end data architecture
• Capture and process website telemetry data
• Optimize system performance
• Design data models for search algorithm performance analysis
• Define data product requirements and deliver solutions
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers

Requirements

• 10+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with streaming data technologies
• Proficient with Airflow
• Knowledge of Snowflake and ClickHouse
• Familiarity with customer data platforms
• Solid understanding of AWS services
• Strong skills in SQL, Python and dbt
