Xometry is seeking a Data Scientist II to develop predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques to forecast business outcomes. The role involves data preparation, model optimization, and data analysis using cloud resources and various tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models using data science and machine learning
• Write software for data preparation and sampling
• Utilize cloud resources for data processing
• Query and extract data from databases
• Use data analysis and visualization tools to inform business strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• M.S. or Ph.D. in a related field highly desired
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling
• Fluent in Python (pandas, numpy, SciPy, and scikit-learn preferred)
• Proficient in linear algebra and statistics
• Familiar with scientific software principals
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
