Job Description

Xometry is adding a Senior Computer Vision Scientist to their cost prediction team. The ideal candidate will use machine learning tools and techniques to construct, optimize, and evaluate predictive models. They will also use their knowledge of probability and statistics to make statistical inferences from data.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models using 3D data
• Write software to prepare, clean, and sample data
• Use cloud resources to prepare and process data
• Query and extract data from databases
• Use data analysis and visualization tools to inform business strategy
• Iterate solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Solve challenging, uncharted problems
• Work in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in applied math, computer science, natural sciences or engineering preferred
• M.S. or PhD in a related field highly desired
• 5+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques
• 2+ years of experience in 3D deep learning
• Fluent in Python
• Proficient in linear algebra and statistics
• Familiar with scientific software principals
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
