Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Staff-level Cybersecurity professional with a strong background in one or more of DevSecOps, network security, and security architecture. The DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical role in embedding security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline
• Design, implement, and maintain security automation tools
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards
• Monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities and incidents
• Perform regular security assessments
• Implement and manage security tools
• Ensure secure coding practices
• Secure Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Automate security tasks and processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats
• Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related field
• Experience with AWS or deep fluency in GCP or Azure
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Strong programming skills in Python and shell scripting
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• US Citizen or legal permanent resident
• Experience in security architecture
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Relevant certifications
• Experience with automating security in a microservices architecture
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
