Job Description

Xometry is seeking a skilled Senior Manager of Machine Learning Engineering with a strong background in ML model productionization to oversee ML Engineering efforts to productionize and deploy ML models that predict the cost to manufacture customers’ parts and determine the best price to charge for them.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers
• Lead the productionization of ML models
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements
• Develop and maintain ML Ops pipelines
• Implement and manage infrastructure for data processing and model training
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in machine learning
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on machine learning
• 3+ years of experience in a management role
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks
• Experience with ML Ops practices
• Proficiency in software engineering practices
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Experience with pricing algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning
• Experience with containerization and big data technologies
