Job Description

Centuria, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a TCF Technician to design, configure, and maintain voice, video, and data communication systems. The role involves supervising installations, providing OM&S of TCF equipment, and supporting Juniper and Cisco hardware and software. The technician will troubleshoot issues, develop contingency plans, and work with various organizations to ensure operational continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure voice, video, and data communication systems
  • Supervise installation and maintenance
  • Provide OM&S of TCF equipment (KG-84A, KIV-7, KIV-19M, KG-175)
  • Perform TCF OM&S of technical control functions
  • Configure, install, test, and monitor TCF circuits and equipment
  • Administer, maintain Juniper and Cisco hardware/software
  • Support multi-communication services and perform preventive maintenance
  • Provide technical support and remote diagnostics
  • Develop and implement contingency plans
  • Provide circuit action support
  • Work with community organizations to ensure operational continuity
  • Coordinate with distant end sites
  • Follow DISA procedures for safeguarding equipment
  • Provide diagnostic services and troubleshooting
  • Report on incidents impacting TCF operations
  • Provide circuit certification and accreditation support
  • Provide cable maintenance
  • Implement physical connections and configure equipment
  • Maintain hardware, software, and cabling for secure voice operations
  • Ensure TEMPEST requirements are met
  • Establish, update, and maintain provisioning records
  • Maintain equipment manuals and SOPs
  • Document and report updates to equipment
  • Safeguard cryptographic equipment and materials
  • Load and destroy COMSEC material

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance or a similar field
  • Knowledge of space surveillance network and satellite catalog (desirable)
  • Familiarity with classified information handling and security management processes
  • On-call support with 30-minute phone response and 1-hour on-site response time
