Job Description

The shipping and receiving/material handler is responsible for overseeing and processing all inbound and outbound shipments within the Factory.

Responsibilities

• Unload truck, count, verify and receive product
• Shelve materials
• Report any damages or shipment discrepancies to the supervisor
• Perform cycle counts for raw material
• Picking and staging material for production lines
• Fulfill surplus parts requests
• Conduct annual physical inventory
• Pack and ship all outbound material
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
• Ability to work cross functionally within a team
• Willingness to learn new computer programs and to become proficient in using RF devices
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math and organization skills
• Previous receiving and shipping experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift up 30-50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to see/read labels
