Job Description

The NFL Digital Media Group seeks a Video Streaming Engineer to shape its digital media presence. Responsibilities include managing audio profiles, supporting VOD infrastructure, troubleshooting video workflows, and supporting live streaming events. The role requires a flexible schedule and involves configuring codecs, inspecting infrastructure, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage audio profiles and distribution
• Support and maintain VOD infrastructure
• Analyze and resolve video workflow issues
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot video feed acquisition
• Support live streaming events
• Configure and implement codec settings
• Conduct daily inspections of video streaming infrastructure
• Maintain documentation of hardware
• Maintain relationships with vendors

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent experience
• Solid troubleshooting experience
• Proven video streaming and media workflow experience
• Experience with live streaming encoders (e.g., Elemental, Anvato)
• Experience with video streaming tools (e.g., QoS Monitoring, CDN Portals)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of streaming providers and vendors
• Strong knowledge of Video Content Management Systems, video player development, and video security
• Experience working with different encoding technologies
• Linux administration experience
