Job Description

COMPLY is seeking a VP of Architecture to serve as the Chief Architect. This individual contributor role will shape the technology strategy and architectural direction, driving innovation and integrating AI capabilities. The role involves defining a long-term architectural vision, collaborating with various teams, conducting technical analysis, driving innovation and delivery, contributing hands-on, and ensuring client empathy and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a long-term architectural vision
• Break down vision into actionable programs
• Direct and influence architecture by working with engineering, product, operations, and security teams
• Serve as architecture authority
• Analyze, capture, and share current state architecture
• Translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
• Design and build future AI platforms
• Drive integration of multiple product platforms
• Write code as needed, leading proofs of concept
• Work with clients to integrate COMPLY’s products
• Collaborate with Product Management teams

Requirements

• Deep experience in .NET application architecture
• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures
• Ability to apply architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• 15+ years of progressive software development and architecture experience
• Proven ability to lead and influence across teams
• Strong understanding of the financial services domain
• Experience designing scalable enterprise platforms
• Hands-on ability to develop POCs
• Opinionated about SDLC and software development best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills
• Demonstrated empathy for end users
