Job Description

The NYISO is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist to publish and promote content related to the electric grid, planning reports, and wholesale electric markets. This role involves managing social media channels, engaging stakeholders, and collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver timely and accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and produce content with subject matter experts
• Publish and promote social media content
• Monitor and analyze social media performance
• Stay abreast of organizational projects and grid issues
• Attend stakeholder committee meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism
• Minimum five years of writing and social media experience
• Familiarity with paid media strategies
• Familiarity with digital media platforms
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven track record in editing, writing, and storytelling
