Job Description

Canary is seeking a Senior iOS SDK Engineer to develop and maintain mobile SDKs for large hotel brands and enterprise customers, as well as contribute to their first-party mobile apps. The role requires a blend of product engineering, developer experience design, and ownership of high-quality mobile code.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and maintenance of iOS SDKs
• Create best-in-class developer experiences
• Build features for first-party staff apps
• Partner with Product and Design
• Collaborate with Backend and Platform teams
• Establish SDK versioning and release processes
• Improve code quality through testing and automation
• Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers
• Drive operational excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years building mobile applications or SDKs with iOS and Swift
• Proven experience designing, shipping, and supporting public SDKs
• Strong grasp of API design and modular architecture
• Proficiency with iOS fundamentals
• Experience with package managers and build systems
• Quality mindset with testing and observability best practices
• Excellent written communication skills
