Job Description

Offchain Labs is seeking a Blockchain Engineer to join their team and work on the cutting edge of blockchain development, specifically within the Arbitrum Nitro stack. The role involves the full lifecycle of smart contracts, from specification to production, and collaboration with various teams to solve technical, economic, and social challenges related to blockchain scalability and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications for smart contracts
• Prototype and develop production code
• Engage in rigorous testing
• Work with external auditors
• Collaborate with research, product, and leadership teams

Requirements

• Deep understanding of blockchain development at the protocol level of the Ethereum Network
• Experience with Solidity and other Web3 related technologies
• Strong sense of ownership
• Up-to-date on latest technologies
• Ability to solve complex problems through experimentation
• Attention to detail
• Open and transparent communication style
• Security-minded
• Open to feedback and self-improvement
• 2 years of experience working with blockchain technology
• Mastery of CS fundamentals
