Job Description

Offchain Labs is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide commercial legal and regulatory support for their on-chain products and infrastructure. The role involves advising on blockchain infrastructure, DEXs, digital payments, and other on-chain products, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to address legal risks and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal, business, and strategic advice
• Research and review product compliance requirements
• Draft, revise, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders
• Assist with designing and scaling legal processes
• Monitor regulatory developments
• Conduct legal research

Requirements

• J.D. and license in a U.S. state
• 3+ years of post-qualification legal experience
• Experience with consumer financial services, fintech, bank, or crypto/blockchain company
• Strong interest in digital currency and blockchain technology
• Transactional and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with Web3 regulatory issues
• Ability to work in a changing environment
• Team player with problem-solving and communication skills
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Outstanding communication skills
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and Ethereum (plus)
