Job Description

Contentful is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through implementations and optimization of the platform. This customer-facing role involves providing technical guidance, leading training, and collaborating with internal teams to shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical enablement on product features
• Propose solution designs to complex business problems
• Synthesize product developments into best practices
• Create prototypes and code examples
• Maintain understanding of related technologies
• Communicate customer feedback to Product and Engineering
• Support quoting and scoping of SOWs
• Partner with Sales, CSMs, and Solution Engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years in a customer-facing Solution Architect role
• Expertise with API-first content platforms
• Strong understanding of composable/MACH principles
• Experience with microservices-based architectures
• Proficiency with modern web technologies
• Developer-level skills in at least one programming language
• Familiarity with web rendering approaches
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
