Job Description

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will drive Contentful’s growth by managing the end-to-end sales process for strategic prospects and customers. This role focuses on net new revenue, upselling, customer enablement, and fostering a North American customer base with a global presence, working collaboratively with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic account plans
  • Identify digital experience problems and align ROI
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineer and Customer Success
  • Align with SI and Tech partners
  • Position, negotiate, and close opportunities
  • Oversee RFI/RFQ requests
  • Refine strategic sales model
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of enterprise SaaS/PaaS sales experience
  • 3+ years of North American sales experience
  • Experience expanding large multinational accounts
  • Knowledge of technical SaaS/PaaS platforms
  • Experience with MEDPICC sales framework
  • Value-based selling and consultative sales skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing technology
  • Experience within a partner ecosystem
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CMS sales experience preferred
  • Experience selling to large organizations
