Job Description

Robinhood is seeking a Government Affairs Intern to contribute to monitoring and interpreting policy trends, preparing materials for stakeholder engagement, and supporting interactions with lawmakers and regulatory bodies. The role involves engaging with elected officials and regulators to advocate for policies that support Robinhood’s mission to democratize finance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to advance Robinhood’s policy priorities
  • Equip stakeholders with understanding of legislative and regulatory policies
  • Track and summarize legislative and regulatory developments
  • Prepare policy materials for meetings with policymakers
  • Manage stakeholder engagement activities
  • Conduct research and monitor government activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners

Requirements

  • Pursuing undergraduate or Master's degree
  • Experience with government or government affairs
  • Familiarity with U.S. Congress or regulatory bodies
  • Familiarity with financial services companies
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Execution oriented attitude
  • Eagerness to learn about new technologies
